Some country is coming to the big city. Brett Young will make a stop in Portland next week.

Brett Young will hit the road in September on his The Weekends Tour. The 33-date trek will stop in Portland at Thompson's Point, September 18. Tickets are still available. Maddie & Tae and Filmore will open the show.

Thompson's Point is requiring all concert goers and staff to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test. According to the venues, fans will have to show "proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative test from the past 48 hours, along with a matching photo ID. Proof of vaccination can be your physical vaccine card or a photo of your card. Children under 12 are exempt from this policy."

The tour supports Young's new album Weekends Look a Little Different These Days, which was released back in June.

Young performed in Maine for the first time back in 2018. He opened for Thomas Rhett in Bangor back in 2018.
