A Biddeford couple faces multiple charges after they allegedly held a Saco woman against her will, while they assaulted and robbed her.

Police say the woman met 33-year-old Aaron Brown and 31-year-old Kimberly Vigue-Brown in Saco Saturday night and went, willingly, to their apartment on Hill Street in Biddeford. She says Aaron told her he would get her an article of clothing. But once at the apartment, the victim claims that she was restrained and assaulted. She says they allegedly put a knife to her throat and stole her wallet and her phone. The victim was finally able to escape from the apartment at around 3:00 Sunday morning. Her name has not been released.

Police say the victim's face and neck were heavily bruised and her right eye swollen shut. Officials said her neck injuries were consistent with someone who had been choked.

WGME-TV reports Aaron Brown is charged with Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault, while Kimberly Vigue-Brown is charged with Criminal Threatening With a Dangerous Weapon, Robbery, and Aggravated Assault. They were taken to York County Jail.
