Today is National Best Friends day. June 8th. It is a day to celebrate friendship. If you can, a great day to spend some time with your best friend. If you can’t get together, a day to ‘reach out and touch’
Any idea when National Best Friends Day began? Careful if you are asked to bet with someone.
In 1935, yes 87 years ago, the U.S. Congress declared June 8th as the day to honor friendship and close friends. Last I checked all the banks and businesses are still open today, but the day has grown in popularity since social media.
