
Bangor Police Seek New York Man for Union Street Murder
Bangor Police are asking for the public's help locating a New York man, wanted in connection with a murder at a Union Street home.
Khalid Harris, 28, of Bronx, New York is charged with murder for the death of 28-year-old Syies Adams of Brooklyn, New York. Bangor Police found Adams' body at 1702 Union Street on the night of December 10th, after receiving a report of an injured, unresponsive male. An autopsy revealed that Adams' death was a homicide.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Harris, whose now being sought by authorities. Police are asking that anyone with information contact their local law enforcement agency. Harris is considered dangerous, and should not be approached.
The woman who owns the Union Street house, Brenda Shaboski, 65, was arrested last month, and charged with maintaining a drug-involved premises and trafficking in fentanyl, after police seized crack cocaine and fentanyl from the residence.
Police have been called to the house before, for acts of violence, including in 2019, when two men ended up with gunshot wounds after arguing over a woman. Neither injury, in this case, was life-threatening. Albe Lagasse went to prison over the incident.
