Bangor Police have released the identity of a man who was found dead in a Union Street house, earlier this month.

The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Syies Adams of Brooklyn, New York. Police were called to 1702 Union Street at 8:30 on the night of December 10th, to a report of an injured, possibly unconscious male. Paramedics arrived at the scene and confirmed that the man was dead.

An autopsy was conducted at the office of the State Medical Examiner on December 11th, and the death was ruled a homicide. So far, police have not commented on the manner in which Adams was killed. No arrests have been made in the case. This investigation is ongoing, while detectives continue to conduct interviews and collect evidence.
