Bangor Food Pantry In Danger Of Closing Getting Closer To Goal
Manna Ministries has collected more than half of the $18,000 it needs to stay open.
Executive Director Bill Rae told WABI-TV5 Wednesday morning that the organization has received $9,500 in donations.
Rae had previously said Manna would have to close its doors if it didn't collect $18,000 by this weekend.
Rae says times have been tough for Manna, with funding cuts and a dip in donations.
On top of that, someone stole the plow off Manna's truck and the food pantry also has a van with a blown motor.
To make a donation to Manna you can visit their website, call 990-2870 or stop by Manna at 629 Main St. in Bangor.
