Bangor Comfort Inn Guests Displaced by Fire

A fire at the Bangor Mall-area Comfort Inn on Monday sent several guests to other hotels.

The fire was reported late Monday afternoon at Comfort Inn, on Bangor Mall Boulevard. The fire was in the third floor ceiling and the alarm system and sprinklers kept it contained to one room. Bangor Fire officials say no one was hurt in the incident.

Hotel staff worked yesterday to find alternative accommodations for approximately 50 guests.
