We want to make it abundantly clear that we do not endorse or encourage excessive alcohol consumption as a response to a sports team's loss. So please, take this with a grain of salt, enjoy a quick laugh, and remember to approach any post-game activities with moderation and common sense.

The NBA playoffs have been full of surprises, and the Boston Celtics find themselves in a tough spot against Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat, who have taken a commanding 3-0 series lead.

With Game 4 scheduled for 8:30 tonight, we thought it would be fun to compile a list of some of the bars and restaurants in the Bangor area that will be open until at least midnight.

The Claddagh Irish Pub: Open until 8:30 pm. While this one may seem contradictory, take note that they open their doors bright and early at 6:30 am, in case you’re still kicking around.

Now that we’ve shared this playful list of Bangor bars and restaurants open until at least midnight, let's reiterate that this is all in good fun. We don't actually encourage drowning your sorrows in alcohol due to a sports team's loss. However, if you decide to venture out, always make safe choices and plan ahead accordingly. Remember, it's the spirit of the game and the camaraderie that truly matter.

So, whether you're celebrating the start of a potential Celtics comeback or raising a glass in jest, enjoy the experience responsibly!
