Bag Of Meth Found On Toy Shelf In Maine Store

Madawaska Police say a bag of methamphetamine was found in the toy section of a local store.

The name of the store has not been released, but police said in a post on the department's Facebook page that they were contacted by a worker at the store over the weekend. The employee said they found a small plastic bag on a shelf in the toy section of the store.

The substance inside the bag was tested and received a positive result for methamphetamine hydrochloride. Anyone with information about the incident, and who may have left the bag, is asked to contact Madawaska Police at (207) 728-6356.
