Two people from New York have been charged, as well as two Augusta residents, in connection with the sale of heroin and crack cocaine.

Augusta Police Deputy Chief Jared Mills said in a media release that the department's Special Response Team executed a search warrant on Page Street in Augusta on Monday. During the search, over 18 grams of Heroin, packaged for sale, and 4 grams of Crack Cocaine were seized. The warrant was the result of a collaborative investigation between the Augusta Police Department and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Arrested as a result of this investigation were:

  • Scott Holbrook, age 53 of Augusta - charged with 2 counts of trafficking in scheduled drugs. His bail was set at $15,000 cash and he is currently being held at Kennebec County Jail.
  • Desiree McKenna, age 25 of Augusta - charged with 2 counts of trafficking in scheduled drugs. Her baile is set at $5,000 cash and she is currently being held at Kennebec County Jail.
  • 25-year-old Isidore Holmes, age 25 of Brooklyn, New York - charged with 2 counts of trafficking in scheduled drugs. Her bail is set at $25,000 cash and she's being held at Kennebec County Jail.
  • The fourth suspect is a 17-year-old woman from Rockaway, New York, who's being held at a juvenile correctional facility
