Another Garage Lost to Fire in Bangor

The State Fire Marshall's Office is investigating a fire in Bangor that destroyed a two-story garage.

Thick black smoke could be seen billowing into the sky above Buck Street around 5:30 last night as fire fighters knocked down the flames.

The garage belongs to Jack and Lisa Chan on Lincoln Street and they say it's insured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and the Bangor Daily News reports the Bangor Police department requested surveillance video from the Cross Insurance Center next door as part of the investigation.

Another garage fire in the city is being investigated as well and is believed to have involved a "human element" according to investigators.

No one was hurt in yesterday's fire, that from some vantage points looked like it involved the new Cross Insurance Center.
