It could be well worth the drive from any North American location to check out this alluring and fascinating New England destination known as 'America's Stonehenge'.

What has been tested via carbon dating and analyzed by professionals is a camp of rocks and stones, carefully laid out in Salem, New Hampshire.

This location is theorized to be pre-historic and serves purposes that may be very similar to Stonehenge in England, a circular placement of large stones used by ancient people to predict celestial alignments. What exactly all of the purposes are for these large monuments is still quite a mystery.

Being unable to understand the totality of the purpose of these kinds of man-made structures certainly makes them intriguing.
