Maine has a small window of opportunity to enjoy the warm temperatures with some outside fun. So now's the time to make plans to visit your local outside public pool. Here is a list of public pools you can enjoy this summer here in the State of Maine.

Waterville Alfond Municipal Pool 

Located on North Street in Waterville, this pool will be open until Sunday, August 22nd. This pool has daily admission fees as well as seasonal passes and is for Waterville residents only. Check out the extensive rates and fees list through the Waterville Parks and Rec website.

Orono Municipal Pool

The pool opened the first full week of July and the water is looking pretty good. Just a reminder that masks will be required inside the building and you'll need a pool pass by going online or to the Town Office. Get that here! Come by and take a dip between the hours of 1 PM and 6 PM.

Bucksport Tim Emery Municipal Pool

Located on Broadway in Bucksport, this pool is open to the public and consistently open from noon to 6 PM 7 days a week. Check out more about the pool at the Bucksport Town Website.

Brewer Municipal Pool

Come by Monday through Friday, general swim hours are 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM. Find daily admission fees at the Brewer Parks and Rec page as well as all of the classes available for the kiddos.

Bangor Dakin Pool

Located on Pine Street, this pool has swim hours available Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 1 PM - 4:30 PM, Tuesday and Thursday 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM. Find more about the pool, including fees, at the Bangor Parks and Rec website.

Portland Kiwanis Community Pool

Maine's largest city has an outside public pool available on Douglass Street. Community Swim is held Monday through Friday for an hour and 15 minutes three times a day starting at 1:30 PM, 3 PM and 6:15 PM. Weekend and holiday community swim times are held for an hour and 15 minute periods starting at noon, 1:30 PM, 3 PM and 4:30 PM.
