5 Signs You Went To High School In Maine
Growing up in a small town somewhere in Maine is probably hard for those from away to really understand. However, you get it and you're sure to understand these five signs.

You Dated Your Friend's Ex
Your friend dated them in grade school, then you dated them in junior high and now your other friend is dating them in high school. In a smaller town, this is bound to happen at one time or another. Thankfully, some have remained high school sweethearts to this day!
Your Siblings Made Your Life Miserable
You know the deal all too well. If the teacher your older sibling had loved them, because they were a straight A student, then they hold you to the same standard. If they gave the teacher the business all the time, then there is probably some kind of a hate toward you too. A no-win situation.
Arguments Consisted Of Who Had The Best Truck
Things like: Who could lay a 40-foot patch of rubber, or who had the best paint job and who's truck was the fastest were controversial issues back in the day. Guys and gals all took pride in their ride and would do their best to show why theirs was the best!
You Cruised The Strip Or Hung Out In Parking Lots
Since a smaller town doesn't have all the amenities of a bigger town, like Portland, we made due with what we had. Fast food restaurants and cruising the main strip.
