Woman Assaulted in Her Garage

Investigators are asking for the public’s help with information regarding an assault complaint. A woman told deputies she was assaulted while standing in her garage.

Penobscot County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Troy Morton said in a press release that the call came in just after 7:30 Tuesday night to a residence in Patten. The victim reported being assaulted by an unknown male who then fled the scene.The woman received minor injuries but was not taken to the hospital.

Deputies searched the area with a K9 but didn’t locate the suspect. He was thought to be wearing blue jeans, a plaid shirt, and a baseball cap.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Penobscot County Sheriff’s office at 947-4585.
