What Can You Tell Me About Whiskey Meyers and Blackberry Smoke?

Get ready for an evening of music that edges into the Southern rock genre, with tons of energy and lots of amazing vocals. Whiskey Myers calls themselves a rock band, heavy on the guitars, but the music harkens back to the Southern Rock sounds of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Molly Hatchet.

Blackberry Smoke's music is very similar to Whiskey Myers and they're building a big following in Maine.

I saw Blackberry Smoke for the first time at the Springfield Fair a few years ago and then saw them again at the Collins Center for the Arts in Orono last year. I was hooked from the very first song that I heard while sitting in a late summer drizzle on the track in Springfield. A southern rock feel with some truly incredible vocals that I know you're going to love.
