Unity College Senior To Compete In NYC Lumberjack Competition

Unity College senior Blake Wilder has qualified for the Stihl Timbersports Series National Championship in New York City's Central Park Next Month.

The 22-year-old Wilder earned a spot in the event after posting the fastest time in a chainsaw competition at Dartmouth College last month.

College lumberjack teams from around the northeast took part in the Dartmouth event know at Woodsmen's Weekends.

Unity's men's team finished third overall.

The NYC competition takes place June 20.
