Unidentified Body Likely That of Missing Colorado Girl

Colorado police say a body found seven miles from where 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway disappeared is mostly likely the missing girl. This comes just a few days after Mainers reported seeing a Colorado vehicle that contained a girl that resembled Jessica.

Dexter police released to the media yesterday that a blue station wagon was spotted in their town and in Harmony, with a girl that matched Jessica's description. Unfortunately, yesterday's hope that she might be found were dashed as the news broke that a body has been found in Colorado.

Jessica Ridgeway disappeared last Friday after she left her home to walk to school. Yahoo! and ABC news are reporting that it will take some time to positively identify the body but investigators are confident that they have found Jessica.
