A Skowhegan man and an Augusta woman have been arrested for allegedly attacking and robbing an elderly woman last week.

The 82-year-old victim, who was attacked in the parking lot of a Hannaford supermarket in Augusta, suffered serious injuries and spent four days in a local hospital receiving treatment, reports CBS 13.

The suspects, Tylor Reece, 21, and Star Black, 24, were later arrested at a home in Skowhegan and charged with robbery, aggravated assault and theft.

Both suspects are being held on $10,000 cash bail at the Kennebec County Jail in Augusta.

Reece and Black are expected to appear in court Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the two may face additional charges for crimes unrelated to the attack in the Hannaford parking lot.
