Top Five Country Beach Songs
The first official day of summer is quickly approaching and after such a long winter, I am ready for some sunshine! With that sunshine comes outdoor plans and summer tunes which is why I’ve rounded up my favorite country beach songs. You’ll find them listed below in no particular order.
Kenny Chesney, ‘No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems’
A beach song countdown could not exist without Mr. Flip-flops himself. Kenny Chesney released this single in 2003 and it quickly took over the country charts. This super laid-back tune is perfect for any beach outing.
Little Big Town, ‘Pontoon’
This mega-hit dominated country radio in the summer of 2012. Little Big Town gave got the melody stuck in our heads and left everyone wanting to be on the water…mmm motor-boating.
Jake Owen, ‘Barefoot Blue Jean Night’
Jake Owen is no stranger to beaches; Afterall, he is still a Florida boy at heart. ‘Barefoot Blue Jean Night’ is the perfect song to play while chilling on the beach with a group of friends just having a good time.
Kenny Chesney (ft. Uncle Kracker), ‘When the Sun Goes Down’
Kenny Chesney is certainly a beach lover which he proved again with this 2004 hit. Partnering with Uncle Kracker, Chesney showed us all how fun the beach can be even after the sun goes down.
Zac Brown Band (ft. Jimmy Buffett), ‘Knee Deep’
This 2011 tune featuring Jimmy Buffett explains exactly why everyone loves a good beach day. With this song, Zac Brown Band and Jimmy Buffett make us all wish that we were “knee deep in the water somewhere”.
