Throwback Thursday: Snow Shortage at Bald Mountain Ski Area in 1970

Remember when Bald Mountain in Dedham had a popular ski area? Here the director is seen discussing the possibility of snow making in a year with a shortage of snow.

Do you remember when Dedham had it's ski area? In this clip from an interview in 1970 with George Hale the Director of the ski area says they are thinking of making snow in the next ski season. He also hints there may be some financial troubles because of the lack of snow and the donations aspect of the business.

The Director also mentions that they are doing it for the people of the greater Bangor area and because they enjoy it.
