Do you remember crossing the Waldo-Hancock Bridge? Three years ago almost to the day, the big cables were cut. See how they did it, and hear the loud BANG! the cables make when they fall!

I don't know about you, but you couldn't pay me to do that job! Although it was sad to see the historic Waldo-Hancock Bridge go, there is something satisfying about seeing those cables snap.

Towards the end of the Waldo-Hancock Bridge there was a strict weight limit and you could feel the roadway sway a bit. When these cables were cut May 16, 2013 it was probably time.
