Besides the many sports programs, another one of the great treasures of the University of Maine is the unrivaled marching band. Under the direction of Christopher White, the UMaine Black Bear Marching Band also makes up the Screamin' Black Bear Pep Band and Concert Band. They're performances at games and special events are creative, lively, precise, and just plain fun to watch.
