There's no question that it's been a weird weather year in Maine. The experts are watching waterways around the state for possible flooding. And, with the rain we've had this week, some are already overflowing their banks. Like in this video from Wells Beach, where a storm surge caused some dramatic power explosions.

The Associated Press put this video on YouTube. It's reportedly from a Wells Police dash cam on April 21st, when the storm surge hit Southern Maine.

You expect to see video like this in hurricane-affected areas. But Maine's seeing some pretty extreme weather this year. Just remember, if you see something like this, get away from the water and the power lines and notify police. As our friends at Emera are always saying, no line is safe to touch, ever!
