Townsquare Media is transforming the Bangor waterfront into a Margaritaville this summer with the city's first-ever Jimmy Buffett themed festival on Sunday, Aug. 11!

Headlining the Darling's Sun of a Beach festival will be Changes In Latitudes, the country’s premier tribute show to Buffett, renowned singer/songwriter and the master of the tropical lifestyle.

We're bringing them to Bangor, where they'll be joined by the Calypso Cowboys who offer a great mix of classic rock and country mixed with a little Zac Brown, Kenny Chesney and the Beach Boys. The Blue Hill-based Atlantic Clarion Steel Band also will be on hand to entertain the crowds.

So get ready for some good, clean fun that can be enjoyed by the whole family while still being appreciated by the “adult” crowds. Every show is a party, with leis and beach balls flying, and dancing conga lines.

Get inside early and reserve your spot. Beach chairs and beach blankets are encouraged (but please leave the beach umbrellas at home)! Come hungry as we have a great line up of regional and local food and drink vendors!

General admission tickets are $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the festival, which runs from 2:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
