Have you heard that  Disney has made a prequel to the Wizard of Oz? I can't wait to see this movie! It's not a musical like the original, and it has its dark moments, from what I've read. Kind of like the Johnny Depp version of "Alice in Wonderland." I was so excited when I read about it that I had to go to YouTube and check out the trailer!

IMDB (the Internet music database) describes the movie as "A small-time magician arrives in an enchanted land and is forced to decide if he will be a good man or a great one."

The cast is impressive, with James Franco (Spiderman) cast as Oz and Mila Kunis (That 70's show) is the Wicked Witch of the West. Other stars include Rachel Weisz (The Mummy), Bruce Campbell (Burn Notice), Michelle Williams (Dawson's Creek), Zach Braff (Scrubs), and Bill Cobbs (Night at the Museum).

It looks pretty cool to me. "Oz, the Great and Powerful" is due in theaters this Friday. See for yourself!
