A bail check in Augusta resulted in arrests for drug trafficking and the capture of an Ohio fugitive from justice who's charged with murder.

Police were conducting a bail check when they found three men and one woman inside a residence at 177 Bridge Street, along with 17 grams of Heroin and 12 grams of Cocaine. One of those people, 18-year-old Matthew Mason of Sandusky, Ohio has a warrant out for his arrest in his home state. Mason is wanted for Murder in connection with the March 22nd shooting of a 19-year-old man, according to the Chronicle-Telegram. He was arrested for being a Fugitive from Justice.

43-year-old Larry Murphy was already out on bail for drug trafficking charges stemming from an arrest in November. He now faces two new counts of Aggravated Trafficking, along with Violation of Bail Conditions. Also arrested was 22-year-old Trevor Orman of Augusta, who was charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs.

A woman in the residence has not been charged. Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges are likely.
