Moose On the Loose After Collision With Car in Brewer

Photo,Cindy Campbell,Townsquare

Brewer and State Police continue to look for a moose that was hit by a car on Main Street Thursday evening. The moose had been wandering around town for much of the day.

A State Police dispatcher confirmed for us that the moose was struck by a car at around 7 p.m. She said it was a ‘non-reportable accident’ which would suggest that the motorist was not injured.

The moose also walked away and, as of 7:30, was still running loose. If anyone spots the animal, they should report it to the police.
