Miranda Lambert's album, 'Four the Record,' turned out to be one her greatest works, and is certainly worthwhile adding to your collection. And all the more reason to see her in concert this Friday, August 2, at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor.

A number of charting songs have already come off the album: 'All Kinds of Kinds,' 'Fastest Girl in Town,' Mama's Broken Heart,' 'Baggage Claim,' and 'Over You.' And in an interview with Vevo, the process for the creation of the album was a bit of revelation for Miranda. She shared that she felt pressured initially; the album shows her sense of humor; there are aspects of her life in each song; and that the record has character.

I've no doubt that details about her marriage to country star and 'The Voice' judge, Blake Shelton, embodies some of the music on 'Four the Record.'

Be sure to get your tickets for Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and Kix Brooks as soon as possible. In the meantime, here's the Vevo interview with Miranda Lambert:
