A man was treated at a Bangor hospital for several stab wounds to the head after a disagreement at a party in his home. Police say he's lucky to be alive.

Skowhegan Police were called to the Milburn Street home at around 11 o'clock Monday night to the report of a fight. They found several people who had been in a disagreement and David Greene, 34, who had been stabbed several times at the base of his head. Greene is the homeowner.

Greene was taken to Redington-Fairview Hospital in Skowhegan and then flown by Life Flight to Eastern Maine Medical Center. He was released on Tuesday and police say he's cooperating with the investigation.

The others at the party were reluctant to cooperate but police say that's changed somewhat today. An arrest is expected soon in this case.
