Machias Police Search For Three Individuals Following Stabbing Incident

Police in Machias are investigating reports of a possible stabbing early Monday morning on Sprague Way.

Police Chief Grady Dwelley said the victim told them three individuals were involved in the incident, and officers are now looking for them.

He said the victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. That person was taken Downeast Community Hospital and then transferred to Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Dwelley did not release the name of the people involved in the incident.
