The Lincoln Loon Festival for 2023 kicks off tomorrow and runs through the weekend in Lincoln Maine

The theme is:

Loons just wanna have fun

Loon Festival is a great example of all coming together for dozens and dozens of varying events that lead to such a strong community.

Events that take place on Day one of four include a Book sale at the Lincoln Memorial Library. And an art Walk with Friends of the Library.

From 8 am until 4 pm it will be the American Legion Yard Sale. The Historical Society will host an open house between 9 am and 3 pm

Also on Thursday: Vendors, games, a bounce house, music, and beginning at 4 p.m. the 76th Annual River Drivers’ Supper, Ludden Field (or if it rains it’ll be held at the First Congregational Church)

Music followed by a teen dance ends the opening night at Veterans Memorial Square.

There are numerous other events for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Including events like 3 on 3 basketball tournament, children’s beach games in Prince Thomas Park, and Hot air Balloon Rides from Cobb Field.

The Redneck Regatta, boat check-in is Saturday at 2 pm Races at Prince Thomas Park beginning at 3 p.m. Pre-register at Town Office.

This promises to be a fun 4 days for the whole family, and a shining example of the community in Lincoln.
