This weekend, the Bangor Opera House is goin' country!
A stellar tribute to The Highwaymen is set for this weekend at the Bangor Opera House. The Grand Tour Plays The Highwaymen - A Tribute To Willie, Waylon, Johnny and Kris runs February 23 through 25. Tickets are on-sale now, and going fast.

Paul Wolfe talked with Larry Tobais, who plays guitar and sings for the tribute group. Listen to the full interview above.

The Highwaymen was country music's first true supergroup. It was comprised of Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson.

This isn't the first time country music has rang loud and proud through the Bangor Opera House. In 2015, Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash delighted country music fans. In 2016 the theatre hosted a tribute to the late, great, George Jones.
