Four people were injured when a pickup crossed the centerline and struck another head-on in Easton.

State Police say the accident happened at around 6:30 Tuesday morning on Route 1A in Easton, north of the Route 10/Route 1A intersection. A pickup driven by 43-year-old Eric St. Laurent was traveling north, while another pickup driven by 27-year-old Randall Nash was traveling south. As the two vehicles approached each other, St. Laurent's pickup drifted into the southbound lane and headed straight for the other truck. Nash attempted to avoid the collision by driving towards the right shoulder, but St. Laurent's vehicle struck Nash's nearly head-on.

The two drivers were taken to TAMC by Crown Ambulance with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Nash's passenger, 25-year-old Marci Jerez was also taken to TAMC with less serious injuries. St. Laurent's passenger, 42-year-old Justin Hitz refused to be treated. None of the  occupants were wearing seatbelts.

Police continue to investigate why St. Laurents drifted into the wrong lane.
