Happy 35th Birthday, Q-106.5

Happy Birthday to Q-106.5, which signed on the airwaves 35 years ago today.

Contrary to popular belief, I have not been here since Day 1. Q-106.5 began broadcasting on January 20, 1986, but I didn't join the crew until June 9 of 1987. I may have missed the very early year-and-a-half, but I've had plenty of adventures with this station and count myself blessed to have been a part of the journey. I still remember the first day I walked into the studio. Back then, we occupied only the third floor of the building our company currently owns. Now, we have offices on all three floors and four other radio stations that have joined us.
