UPDATE: At 10:03am on Monday, March 6th, the Winslow Police Department posted an update on Facebook, announcing that Susan Morissette has been located safely at a friend’s house. She is no longer considered to be a missing person.

Winslow Police are asking for the public's help locating former State Legislator Susan Morissette, who's been missing since Saturday.

The 47-year-old left her Winslow home at around 1:30 Saturday afternoon in her white Jeep Cherokee to meet a friend for lunch in Waterville. Police say she never returned home and isn't answering her phone.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts, or who has seen her vehicle with Maine plate 444RX is urged to call the Winslow Police Department at (207) 872-5215 and ask for Sergeant Lund.

Morissette served in the Maine Legislature for one term, beginning in 2010, representing Winslow and Benton.
