This time of year, we always think about making sure kids in our area have gifts come Christmas morning. And that's great! But there's another group of people that are often forgotten.

Many seniors in Maine are alone on the holidays, or spending them in care facilities, with no gifts and no family. A wonderful organization in Bangor is working again this year to provide "Stockings for Seniors."

MAS Home Care of Maine started the "Stockings for Seniors" program last year. And it went so well, they've decided to do it again this year! Last year they delivered gifts to over 175 seniors in Maine and New Hampshire. But they need your help!

Unwrapped donations can be dropped off at MAS Home Care of Maine, 360 Harlow Street in Bangor. They're taking donations until Friday, December 14th. If you can't take your donations to them, call Heather or Chip at 561-9533 to arrange to have them picked up. No one should be without some cheer this Christmas!
