2 weeks ago I hope all the Moms had an awesome Mother's Day, no matter how you celebrated! It's funny how family dynamics differ. Some families take things very seriously. Others (like mine) tend to take a lighter approach to traditional relationships.....like this Mom and Son, who decided to forgo the traditional Mom/Son waltz at the wedding for something a little....funkier!
2 weeks ago Mother's Day is this weekend and so I started thinking about television Moms. I think everyone has their own favorite. The Mom they wish they had....or the kind of Mom they hope to be. My favorite is Sophia Petrillo from the Golden Girls. She's funny, sassy, and full of energy, even at 80 years old. I hope I'm like that when I'm an old lady!

4 weeks ago I love Blake Shelton's new song "Boys 'Round Here," but I kept getting stumped on one line. "Ain't a damn one know how to do the dougie (You don't do the dougie?) No, not in Kentucky." I thought, what the heck is the dougie? So...I went to You Tube and found a video, instructing me how to do the dougie! And no...you won't see me doing it anytime soon!
