An afternoon of live music will benefit the family of a young man who's battling cancer. Many local musicians will provide the entertainment, there will be food, and a silent auction!

Little Guy Mitchell is 10 years old. According to the event's Facebook page, he was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Leukemia recently and is currently in an Arizona Children's Hospital, undergoing treatment. Other medical issues have made him a very sick little boy. Little Guy's grandparents are from Maine and so this fundraiser will help them to travel back and forth so they can be there for him!

Music for the afternoon will be provided by The Second Chance Band, Not Quite Rite Band, Rockin' Ron, Skip Coffin Band, Richard Carter and the Daddy Del Droolers, Keith Bates, Randy Blevins, Chris Fyfe, and more! There will be a food table and plenty of silent auction items to bid on!

The benefit fundraiser for Little Guy Mitchell will be held at the Bangor Area Recovery Network, 142 Center Street in Brewer, this Sunday, March 9th from Noon to 4:30. Stop by! And if you can't make it but you still want to contribute, you can send a check, to Tina Dorr, P.O. Box 1791, Bucksport, ME 04416. Make the check out to Roger Mitchell. Roger is Little Guy's grandfather.
