A 20-year-old man was sentenced Tuesday for robbing a Bangor motel in August.

Caleb Church of Bangor pleaded guilty to armed robbery and was sentenced to four years behind bars.

Police said Church walked into Motel 6 and asked for a bag of ice.

He then reached under his clothing and indicated he had a gun.

A clerk gave Church money from the cash register and he fled on foot toward Hammond Street.
