Bangor K9 Receives Special Gift

A nonprofit organization has given a Bangor Police Department K9 a very special gift.

The group Vested Interest in K9s Inc. has awarded police K9 Aki a bullet and stab protective vest.

The vest was sponsored by Madeline Hamersley of Sorrento, ME and will be embroidered with the message “In memory of David & Isabel Wagstaff, Tuxedo Park, NY."

Vested Interest in K9s is an East Taunton, MA based nonprofit, which assists law enforcement agencies in protecting four-legged officers.
