Aroostook County Man Changes Plea In Child Porn Case

An Aroostook County man who collected photos of infants being sexually molested pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Bangor Wednesday.

41-year-old Robert Kinney Jr. of Blaine changed his plea as part of a deal in which two other charges of receiving and possessing child pornography were dropped.

Kinney was first arrested at his home on September 26, 2014 by Maine State Police, who were acting on a tip.

Police say Kinney used an email account to transmit the images out of Maine.

He could get up to 20 years in prison at sentencing.
