You're about to watch a video of a man who faced hip replacement surgery, and about $70K out of pocket expense because his insurance company would not cover much of the cost. At a loss as to what to do, he decides to search the web for options, and finds a site where doctors will actually bid on your surgery, generally at a much lower cost. But as you'll learn, cheap is not always the best.

In fact, surgery mistakes happen more often than professionals care to admit. One website, medicalnewstoday.com, reports on the number of mistakes, referred to as 'never-events', that happen each year in the United States. Here's an excerpt from the article:

They estimate that at least 39 times a week a surgeon leaves foreign objects inside their patients, which includes stuff like towels or sponges. In addition surgeons performing the wrong surgery or operating on the wrong body part occurs around 20 times a week.
