Whiting Man Found, Charged With Multiple Felonies
State Police today arrested a Whting man they had been looking for for three days and charged him with a number of felonies.
Robert Boggia was arrested at the home of his girlfriend on the County Road in the Trescott section of Lubec about 11 a.m. The State Police Tactical team assisted troopers with the arrest.
Boggia is now charged with gross sexual assault, domestic violence assault, robbery, burglary and theft. His girlfriend -- 45 year old Nicole Phinney was also arrested and charged with hindering apprehension.
Boggia, who runs marijuana shops in Machias and Calais, had eluded authorities for most of the week. State Police asked the public for help yesterday through the media and on Facebook, and received a number of tips.
Boggia and Phinney were taken to the Washington County Jail.
