After Scott's story this morning about the woman who woke up in her hotel room to find a snake on her arm, we want to know about your worst experience.

I still remember the worst hotel room I ever stayed in. It was during my family's cross-country trip to California when I was 12 years old. It was brutally hot, and we'd been living in a pop-up camper for a couple of weeks. My Dad decided to treat us to a hotel room, so we could cool off, watch some TV, and enjoy using a non-public bathroom.

But our dreams of luxury were dashed when we realized the air-conditioner was blowing hot air, and the faucets had no hot water. Then there were the giant bugs that would jump out of the carpet. I mean, they were freaky, even to my parents. We stayed in that room for a couple hours while my Dad found us a much nicer place to spend the night. It was so nice, in fact, that we stayed for two nights. I still remember the name of that first, awful hotel, although I won't share it. I mean, hopefully they've improved over the years.

Now I want to know, what's the worst thing you ever found in a hotel room? Take our poll, or let us know in the comments section of our Facebook page (under the link to this post), or through the Q-106.5 app. We're interested in hearing your horror stories.
