
New Biz: Wellness and Fitness Facility Opening in Bangor Soon
A new business is opening soon in our Queen City of the East, with a focus on wellness and fitness.
It's always exciting when new businesses open up in Bangor because it brings fresh opportunities and services to the area. Not only is it a big moment for the business owners, but the community can’t wait to check out what’s new and make it part of their routine!
Bodi Bar is a fitness and wellness studio set to open in the spring of 2025 in Bangor.
The facility will feature 5,820 square feet of gym space, a Pilates studio, and a wellness center offering saunas, cold plunge tubs, red light therapy, and tanning. It will also house independent businesses, including a nurse injector and a massage therapist, creating a comprehensive health and wellness hub.
Founder Sheridan, originally from Presque Isle, has been passionate about fitness since 2016 and earned a degree in Exercise Science from Husson University.
She became a personal trainer in 2021, gaining experience at LA Training before transitioning to full-time self-employment in 2023. Her vision for Bodi Bar is to create a one-stop destination for fitness and wellness, bringing her dream to life.

So, where exactly will Bodi Bar be located in Bangor? Where can you expect to find the city’s newest fitness studio and wellness spa?
Bodi Bar is currently under construction and is expected to open this spring at 1113 Stillwater Ave in Bangor. It will be located in the former Black Bear Medical space, in the same building as the Natural Living Center.
