Toys ‘R’ Us Parking Lot in Bangor Isn’t Big Enough For All the Cars

The former Toys "R" Us parking lot in Bangor just isn’t big enough for all the cars. But not to worry, they're not moving very far away for the next car meet.

Bangor Car Meets will meet this Saturday evening between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., ironically at The Bangor Mall where Sears Automotive used to be located. If you enter across from Staples, just down the road from The Toys "R" Us, you’ll be in good shape. For those to want to enter an address into your GPS, 693 Stillwater Avenue will show you what you’re looking for, or enter 150 Bangor Mall Blvd. Aren't GPS and Google Maps great.

Ty Taylor who created the Bangor Car Meet says,

“What an amazing way to close out our last meet at the old Toys R Us with over 300 cars, a trunk full of donations headed to Animal Orphanage in Old Town, and over $200 going to local shelters in need”

This is going to be a big meet.

“This is a huge step for us on our journey as a group”

Ty also asks that all attendees respect the rules laid out. Absolutely zero tolerance of burnouts, booze, marijuana, and asks all to drive slowly and respectfully.

“We have chosen The Bangor Area Homeless Shelter for donations. They are currently accepting non – perishable food items and as always we will accept cash donations as well”
