Thomas Hill Standpipe Summer Tour Wednesday
Take in the sights from the top of the Thomas Hill Standpipe.
The Thomas Hill Standpipe will open for a summertime tour. The tour is set for this Wednesday, July 25, from 4-8PM. The event is free of charge. It should be noted the standpipe is not handicap accessible, with 100 stairs leading to the promenade deck.
2018 Thomas Hill Standpipe Tours:
- July 25 - 4-8PM
- October 10 - 3-6
- December 7 - Noon-3PM
The standpipe was built in 1897 and is designated as a National Historic Landmark by the Maine Historic Preservation Commission.
