The Escherian Stairwell…How does this work?

The Escherian Stairwell and it's design has been dazzling everyone who sees it at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Now, somehow, this staircase goes against the laws of physics by looping back into itself. You have to see it to believe it.

Now that you've watched in disbelief, we should tell you this is actually a project by RIT film/animation graduate student Michael Lacanilao who set out to create a modern myth. He posted the project, hoping to raise $12,000 but only got $940 from 30 backers. But we have to admit, it certainly could be one great April Fools Joke!
