The Bangor Water District will hold the spring tour of the Thomas Hill Standpipe this Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m.

This Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m., the Thomas Hill Standpipe will open their doors for the Spring Tour. The Thomas Hill Standpipe has 100 stairs that go to the top for the greatest view of Bangor, Brewer and surrounding areas.

Some will say there are 102 stairs, 98 stairs, but whatever you come up with...rest assured there are 100, regardless of how many there are, it's worth the hike! Spring in Maine, a time for rebirth and regrowth, and lots of green can be seen far and wide from atop the Standpipe.

The Standpipe is not handicapped accessible, food and beverage is not allowed at the top, and children should be accompanied by an adult!

This Wednesday, join us high atop Bangor, at the Thomas Hill Standpipe Spring Tour, from 3 to 6 p.m., Q-106.5 will be on location from 3 to 5 p.m., we hope to see you there!
